Food and Writing about It

In my day to day life I don’t always think of myself as a writer. Six cookbooks and other projects later, I guess I can legitimately call myself one.

When the lovely folks at the Woodbury Public Library asked me to join in their Confluence of Readers and Writers food writing panel, I was honored. I actually forgot how much I love the topic.

Writing about food has been a way for me to share recipes and ultimately my experiences. As you’ll see in this food panel discussion, I am not alone in my passion for sharing and chatting about food. The topics of food and culture are constantly intertwined, current, and important.
